Mediaeval banquets and mystery dinners
Dinner is served
A spring supper, performers’ night or mediaeval banquet: at our four-course dinner theatre nights you benefit from two modes of entertainment: the culinary and the cultural. Our master cook and various performers provide sustenance for both your stomach and your ears according to age-old traditions, each of which tells its own tale of the days of noble knights and fine ladies. While one blows his horn and plucks his strings, the other wields his pots and ladles, eliciting hymns of praise from your taste buds.
Be led into dinner by the lord of the castle himself, dine in mediaeval style, delight in courtly music, dainty dances and incredible tales of yore and storm the ancient walls of the Ehrenburg on a night-time tour of the castle by torchlight.
Step back into a dream of days long since past, hear the sound of horse hooves and clashing swords echoing off the walls and enjoy a night of true mediaeval chivalry. Come and join our mediaeval feast – and discover how the knights of yore wined, dined and were entertained in style.
Mystery dinners
The silent Heinrich (premiere 31.10.2019)
A.D. 1430 The widowed mistress of the Ehrenburg plans for the marriage of her daughter and has therefore invited all the local eligible bachelors to a festive evening. At the same time, a researcher looking into the legend of a murderous castle ghost warns the unbelieving guests of the wrath of "Silent Henry". And indeed, a short time later, some of the more vociferous doubters die a mysterious death ... A case for Father Anselmus, who once more leaves his silent Hunsrückklause - and finds out amazing things.
